T-L Systems

T-L’s pivot irrigation systems are constructed with high-strength truss rods and a double tower-leg design. Components are zinc coated by T-L’s galvanizing plant to prevent rust. Features such as external flex joints, unexposed drive shafts, no universal joints, and the absence of contactors and fuses contribute toward making T-L systems trouble-free.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right water pump?

There are multiple important factors that you should consider when buying a water pump:

  1. Flow Rate (The time it takes for a water pump to pump specific amount of water).
  2. The size of the inlet (The bigger the inlet, the more water can be pumped. This means that you would be able to pump more water in shorter amount of time).
  3. Maximum head and pressure (The longest height at which the water can be pumped).
  4. Type of water being pumped.

What is the life expectancy of a well water pump?

The life expectancy of your water pump will depend mostly on how well you take care of your pump as well as the quality of the pump. If the previous owner installed the pump it might be difficult to calculate how old the pump actually is. If you properly maintain it, the submersible water pump can last up to 30 years, while jet pumps used for shallow wells can last up to 10 years.

How long does it take for the water to clear after replacing a well pump?

The water from your private well can become muddy and contaminated for various reasons, either by the floods or pump replacement. You will have to sanitize your well water so that it can be used. This is a simple and easy process that lasts no longer than a week.

What is the life expectancy of an irrigation pump?

If you are using a duplex pump system, then it’s very unlikely that both of your pumps will fail at the same time. Jet pumps can last up to 30 years or more if they are properly maintained and serviced regularly. Centrifugal pumps can last 10 years or more.

How long does it take to install a well pump?

Once you contact your drilling contractors, they will schedule an in-person meeting to examine your property to determine the best spot to place your well.

Then your drilling contractor will acquire the necessary permits you need to have in order to drill the well. This process can take anywhere from one day up to one week.

After the well has been drilled and a long steel casing has been inserted, your well drilling contractor will install the well pump. Then at the very end, cement will be used to tighten up the well and the well will be sealed with a well cap.

In most cases, this whole process can be completed within a week.
